We are moving forward in faith, trusting that serving overseas for a year is what God has in His plan for us. However, for every small step of faith, there are numerous unknowns that can feel somewhat overwhelming at times. Not only do we wonder where we are supposed to go, but we also have many unknowns about our plans for when we return. Please pray for us:
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! And please let us know how we can be praying for you!
Love,
Trey and Maggie
- Wisdom and guidance regarding where we should go to serve in ministry during the upcoming year. Please pray God would reveal His desires for where we would go and what we would do there for this upcoming year. Pray that He would open up the perfect opportunity that would allow us to serve Him and others most effectively using the gifts and passions He has given us; pray too that He would open doors for a place where He would use this time to grow our marriage and our walks with God. Please pray that God would open all the right doors, and that we would know which ones to walk through.
- Wisdom for where/what Trey should study for graduate school. Praise God for allowing him to achieve a very good score on the GRE that should not limit his options of where he can go or what he can study. Please pray for wisdom about what schools he should apply for and what specific degree program(s) he should apply for. He has been leaning towards chemical engineering for some time now, but he is still praying about it.
- Our marriage, work, and ministry before leaving. Please pray that we would be sustained in all of our day-to-day life as we look ahead to this exciting adventure. As you might imagine, life is quite busy as we pursue arrangements for next year in ministry, as well as graduate programs for Trey. Although it's important to make plans and look ahead, we still want to live in the present - where God has placed us here and now. Praise God that Maggie is not traveling to much with work right now, which is a huge blessing given everything else going on. Please pray for continued perseverance at work for Maggie, for encouragement for us as we balance waiting on the Lord and making plans, and for us to continue to be a help and support to the youth group at Cornerstone.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! And please let us know how we can be praying for you!
Love,
Trey and Maggie
